Walker Lambert succeeded Murshida Dr. Carol Connor as the latest Murshid to lead Sufism Reoriented on Sunday 21st May 2023. The announcement was made at the Walnut Creek Center in San Francisco, California.

After earning a degree in English from the University of Chicago, he earned an MBA and a Masters in social change entertainment from Johns Hopkins University.
