Meher Baba's Life & Travels
Meherabad consists of 2 main areas, the area near the main road and railway line is called Lower Meherabad and the area on top of Meherabad Hill is called Upper Meherabad.
There are web pages for these locations, select from the "Locations" menu.
In most cases, Meher Baba had decided where everyone was to be interred.

The graves of Meher Baba's closest females followers / mandali including His pets are principally located at Upper Meherabad next to Meher Baba's Samadhi-Tomb, at either side and also nearby, which also has a memorial for His parents.
At Lower Meherabad, the graves of his closest men followers / mandali are located, including nearby at the Memorial Tower which has two graves within that area.
There is a grave at the Meherazad property.
I would like to thank all the people who contributed for the images herein which have been collected over the years. I valued Eric Teperman also Peter & Debbie Nordeen's input in this project. Many of the photographers I have no knowledge who they are but one person who provided the bulk of the great grave markers has been Mark Trichka who photographed the complete set of markers in early 2020 on his recent visit to India with his wife Lisa Brande.

Meher Baba stated in mid-April the order of the placement of the women's graves.
In case of death among the ladies, the body is to be removed to Meherabad and buried on the hill there, as follows:
i. Mehera's next to and to the right side of Baba's Tomb.
ii. Naja's next to Mehera's and to the right side of Baba's Tomb.
iii. Meheru's next to Naja's and to the right side of Baba's Tomb.
iv. Mani's next to and to the left side of Baba's Tomb.
v. Goher's next to Mani's and to the left side of Baba's Tomb.
vi. Rano's next to Goher's and to the left side of Baba's Tomb.

In case no particular desires are expressed by those concerned, then, circumstances permitting, first preference for the disposal of the dead body is to be given as follows:
Kaikobad — dokhma (at Tower of Silence) in Ahmednagar
Vishnu — cremation in Meherabad
Nilu — cremation in Meherabad
Bhau — cremation in Meherabad
Kumar — cremation in Meherabad
Krishna — cremation in Meherabad
Aloba — burial in Meherabad
Pendu — burial in Meherabad
Baidul — burial in Meherabad
Gustadji — burial in Meherabad
