BABA  DYING

26 January 1926

On the 26th January, several followers came from Ahmednagar after they heard that Meher Baba had died or been killed. Hearing their comments Baba remarked, " Even if the heavens and earth should come together for that purpose, I am not going to give up my body for the next 26 years*( 1952 ). After that, whether I drop my body or not will depend upon my will, but I shall not keep a connection with the body after I am 90"( 1984 ).
