Helwan is located at the Southern end of Cairo along the Nile River.

NOTE : The street was renamed during the 1950s after a local nationalst leader to CHERIF PASHA Street. There is a cafe at No.48 called " Golden Cafe ". Whether this street number relates to the old street numbers is unclear.
